WayHome Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Justice, Frank Ocean and The Shins

WayHome Music and Arts Festival at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario has revealed the 2017 lineup for their three-day event going down July 28th through the 30th.

Headlining acts include Imagine Dragons, Frank Ocean, and Flume. Frank Ocean most recently made news after boycotting the Grammys and speaking against producers for criticizing his 2013 performance at the annual awards show and suggesting that was the reason for his boycott.

“Yea yea my 2013 performance at the Grammys was absolute shit. Technical difficulties, blah blah. Thanks for the reminder. Very much appreciated. Fuck that performance though. You think that’s why I kept my work out of the Grammy process this year? Don’t you think I would’ve wanted to play the show to ‘redeem’ myself if I felt that way?”

The WayHome 2017 lineup is filled with a mix of hip-hop, acoustic rock, and electronic favorites such as Justice, Marshmello, Tegan & Sara, The Shins, ScHoolboy Q, Phantogram, Death From Above 1979, Dashboard Confessional, Royal Blood, Poliça, Car Seat Headrest, The Drums, Hundred Waters, Banks, Noname, Mitski, and Vance Joy. Also on the lineup is Grammy award winning Solange; who won her first ever Grammy award Sunday night in the category of Best R&B Performance.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 17th at 10:00 a.m. ET through the festival’s website.
