The Mountain Jam music festival is back and will be held June 16,17, and 18th. The full lineup installment was just announced and we are excited to see the String Cheese Incident joining the headliners at Hunter Mountain in Hunter, N.Y.
Additional previously unannounced performers such as Head and Heart, Moon Hooch, and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives will be joining the team as they perform at this jam band rock and folk festival. This festival is a proven hit always bringing an amazingly talented lineup into one place. Bringing powerhouse performers from all rock styles such as indie, jam band, and folk into one place is a guaranteed good time.
This year does mark the first time that the festival will be held on a weekend other than Memorial Day Weekend. Organizers claim this their reasoning is to hope and beat mother nature and get better weather than in years past.
The guitarist from the Allman Brothers Band, Warren Haynes, created The Mountain Jam festival in 2005, since it has grown into one of the staple classic rock musical events. Held at Hunter Mountain Ski Resort the festival houses 3 stages for festival goes.
