Festival season is upon us and the level of excitement is only increasing as we progress through the new year and new announcements are made about different festival and who is performing. Rock fans have another reason to be excited as the Fuji Rock Festival has announced that it will make it return on July 28th, 29th, and 30th.

The Fuji Rock Festival is an annual rock festival held in Naeba Ski Resort in Japan. It is a three day event that is organized by Smash Japan. It features in total groups from Japan and groups from outside of Japan that are drawn to the site to perform for their fans. It has been around since 1997 at the base of Mount Fuji, which is what inspired the name. In 1999, that was when the festival officially moved to its current location. The grounds of the festival comes with seven main stages. The main stage (green stage) has a capacity of 50,000, plenty of room for excited fans.

Last year, the festival was a success with performances from artists like Beck, Sigur Ros, and Battles.
