Eaux Claires Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Paul Simon and YMusic, Feist and Wilco

Earlier today, this year’s lineup for Eaux Claires festival was released via pamphlets passed out to advance ticket holders. The Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver)-run festival held in rural Wisconsin is featuring a pretty impressive lineup, with notable guests including Paul Simon (with YMusic), Feist, Wilco, Chance the Rapper, Danny Brown, Francis and the Lights, Perfume Genius, and a possible collaborative performance by Vernon and John Prine (“Bon Iver Presents John Prine And The American Songbook”).

This year will also have something called “Artists-in-Residence”, who will apparently be “an assembled cast of notable musicians [creating] an integral creative core, ready to jump in and contribute their talents to announced and unannounced performances across the entire weekend.” Artists-in-Residence this year will include Sam Amidon, Phil Cook, Bryce Dessner, Jenny Lewis, The Staves, and Anais Mitchell.

Apparently, the full lineup will be officially posted tomorrow at noon on the festival’s website, when the tickets go on sale. The festival is celebrating it’s 3rd year of existence on June 16th and 17th, at Foster Farms in the titular town of Eau Claires, Wisconsin. The festival will be featuring live music, performance art, visual art, food and more. All ages are welcome, with children ten and under having free entrance. Tickets will be available here.
