Recent Twitter and Facebook post from the Deftones and Rise Against have teased us with the thought that they may be touring together later this year. The two bands have always been friends over the years with frontman Tim Mcllrath having joined them multiple times on stage for “Passenger.” At the beginning of the week the Deftones shared this video of a Rise Against record being played.
Then yesterday, the Deftones shared the following clip teasing a potential announcement for Monday with the hashtag “DTRA17.” The clip shows images of both bands in the latest clip where the Deftones posted a playing Rise Against record.
Finally Rise Against posted via Facebook another teaser with multiple Deftones records.
All we can do now from these few teasers from the Deftones and Rise Against is wait until this coming Monday for a special announcement. Hopefully as we suspected they will announce a potential tour together for later this year.
