Sorority Noise @ The UC Theatre 4/10

The emo foursome band Sorority Noise is coming to Berkeley this spring. They are playing the UC Theatre on April 10th as they tour as an opener for Modern Baseball and alongside the acts Kevin Devine and The Goddamn Band, and The Obsessives.

The band started out back in 2013 when members of the bands Old Gray and Prawn combined forces to be the emo band you know and love today. Their most recent work includes the song No Halo which came out last month. Previous to this the band has dropped a handful of EPs and two full albums with one in the works set to debut later this year in March. Their hits include Blonde Hair, Black Lungs, Dirty Ickles, and Mediocre at Best from their 2014 album Forgettable, Using, Art School Wannabe, and Mononokay from the 2015 album Joy, Departed. The band has steadily produced and put out their music since their inception and have heavily toured throughout the States. Their sound is a mixture of emo, pop-punk, rock, and shoe-gaze. Their lyrics capture melancholy and angst but can keep it light with their indie ballads. Sorority Noise keeps it consistent and honest with their content. One thing that the band does regularly, which is really cool, is they do splits with other bands such as their popular split with the band Somos in 2014.

Fans of Pity Sex, Joyce Manor, and Seahaven will be into this show and this band due to their similar style of music and lyrical content. This band will put on a lively show and is only opening for an equally great band, Modern Baseball. This show will be hours of fun and quality music so hit click and buy some tickets my dudes.
