Daya @ Social Hall SF 3/14

Teenage sensation Daya is coming to the bay this winter on her Sit Still, Look Pretty tour. She will be playing the Social Hall on March 14th as her NorCal stop on her U.S tour. This will be her only stop up in NorCal.

The singer-songwriter came to fame impressively as a 17 year old. She blew up the radio waves with her hit song Hide Away as a junior in high school back in Pittsburgh. Once she hit fame with her sweet song, Daya released her first EP self-titled Daya in 2015. Then a year later she released her first full length Sit Still, Look Pretty. That album has all her hits such as the reappearance of Hide Away, Words, Sit Still, Look Pretty, and Cool. The teen is making her own waves as solo singer and is absolutely killing it. Her voice has a special lit to it that makes her songs instantly likeable. They are fun to sing in the car or on a walk home from class. Her songs are positive and show off her vocal chops. Maybe her voice sounds familiar even if you haven’t heard her hits, as Daya is also featured on the hit Don’t Let Me Down by the successful duo The Chainsmokers.

Fans of Halsey, Tori Kelly, and Hailee Steinfeld will instantly fall in love with this young artist. Her talent and influence will only continue to grow as she does. Daya’s voice has shown to not only inspire strong females empowerment songs like Sit Still, Look Pretty, but also show off her talent on club hits like the song she was featured on for the Chainsmokers. Her fan base will only grow from here. So, my friends, hit click and catch yourself a fun show when this teenage dream makes her way to the Social Hall this winter.
