The Isle of Wight Festival 2017 lineup has been announced and it’s seething with new and veteran artists who are no doubt going to kill it on the main stage this year. Catfish and The Bottlemen, Arcade Fire, and RUN-DMC are all notable musicians set to be performing at the festival. Additional artists to add to your festival setlist are Rod Stewart, David Guetta and Bastille. You’ll be be able to catch all these favorites and more this Summer in England on June 8-11, tickets are on sale now.

Last year, the late David Bowie graced us with his presence last year at the festival alongside The Who, Richard Ashcroft, and Adam Lambert. There were rumors The Isle of Wight Festival wasn’t going to be returning in the new year due to insufficient funds to carry out the event. However, the festival later announced they came to a deal and were able to cut costs so the Isle of Wight Festival is now offically a go.

The festival began in 1968 as a counterculter event and recieved an unexpected amount of attendees. After 1970 the festival was canceled after parliment passed a law forbidding outdoor overnight gatherings of more than 5,000 people without approval first. Thankfully, the festival was brought back in 2002 and has been welcoming eager festival goers ever since.

Stay tuned for more artist announcements.
