Happy Valley, Oregon’s independent music festival, Pickathon is back for its 19th year and has announced two-thirds of its 2017 lineup. This years lineup features a mix of R&B and Alternative rock with performers like Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaries, Dinosaur JR., Drive-By Truckers and more.
Year after year, Pickathon provides a lineup that feature’s a mix of well-known performers like Mac DeMarco, Angel Olsen, Beach House, and some up-and-coming musicians. Since 1999, Pickathon has implemented a unique and eco- friendly festival experience for all ages. “Recognized around the world as a leader in sustainable practices for music festivals” and being the only outdoor festival in the U.S to minimize single use cups and utensils, Pickathon has continuously kept a commitment to sustainability.
Originally held at Horning’s Hideout, in 2006 Pickathon moved to its present location Pendarvis Farms. Going down from August 3rd- 6th, festival goers can fully immerse themselves in everything Pickathon has to offer. Experience three days of incredible performances, camping, yoga and yes even massage & acupuncture sessions.
Tickets are on sale now! (see link below) Front Gates open on Friday August 4th at 9am. Early Thursday entry passes for noon can be purchased on the festivals website.
