The business part of the “music business” has suffered and benefited from the rapid advancement of the internet, and now streaming services like Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music. One aspect of the art of music that has yet to be greatly affected by this advancement has been the live show element. Artists depend on the live show for income and as an intimate way of connecting with their fans. That is what Ryan Adams plans to do with his recent announcement of a 2017 tour.
Beginning in late January, Adams will embark on a very short tour passing through Pasadena among other cities.
Adams will not be without new music to perform for his fans as it was recently revealed that he his releasing a double album in collaboration with Liz Phair. The two were spotted in the studio via twitter working on their upcoming project.
Recently, Adams released a new song titled “To Be Without You” that will be featured on his upcoming album
Prisoner which will be available February 12th.
