John 5 Announces New Album Season Of The Witch for March 2017 Release

John 5, the former Marilyn Manson and now Rob Zombie guitarist, is set to release his eighth solo album, Season of the Witch, along with his band The Creatures on March 3rd. The instrumental album will take an experimental approach, dabbling in genres ranging from flamenco, heavy metal, swing, and others.

Opting out of the traditional release strategy, John 5 decided instead to release several of the tracks throughout 2016 in the form of music videos. “Black Grass Plague,” “Behind the Nut Love,” “Now Fear This,” “Hell Haw” and several other tracks saw music video releases throughout the prior year, all building up to the release of the official project.

Following positive reception from the music videos, John 5 is confident that fans will enjoy the album just as much as he does.

“I put so much work into this record with the videos, the artwork, the songwriting and the playing—out of my catalog, this is by far my favorite solo record,” John 5 says.

Pre-orders will be available next month on ITunes, and you can peep the full tracklist below.
