Nelsonville Music Festival has announced their 13 annual festival lineup featuring musicians among the likes of Ween, Son Volt, and Emmylou Harris. Find a complete list below to see everyone featured on the lineup. Aside from the feel good folk, country, and rock artists festival goers can find kid friendly activities, a beer garden for when you wanna leave the little tikes at home, plus an arrangement of different art instalments and food vendors.

The Nelsonville Festival will take place in Nelsonville, Ohio on June 1 through June 4. The small town prides themselves on being environmentally friendly and makes sure to leave as small a footprint as possible, “diverting 96% of waste” at their festival in 2015. Tickets to the festival are on sale now starting at $140 for adults and $70 for residents and teens. Options for on-site campus are available for purchase as well.

Last year Randy Newman, Gillian Welch, and Courtney Barnett rocked the festival stages, following The Flaming Lips, Merle Haggard, and St. Vincent from the following year. There are three total stages for the performing artists, one being a historic one room schoolhouse with zero electricity. This means no Snapchatting the sets of the accoustic artists who take on the quaint stage.

The festival was originally put on to bring more tourists to the town of Nelsonville, more specifically to their historic art district. In 2003 the festival began with six bands and 750 attendees, and those numbers have skyrocketed to about 60 bands and 7000 attendees in 2014. The event is sponsored by Stuart’s Opera House, and all proceeds of the festival go to keeping the historic building up-and-running.

McKenzie Dillon: University of Nevada, Reno Alumna. I graduated with a major in writing and a minor in journalism. I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music of course. I was raised in the bay area, and am thrilled to be living back in California. Catch me at your local music festival, because there's nothing better than laying back in the grass and listening to your favorite bands or discovering new ones.
