February 2017 is revealing itself to be an exciting month for music. Not only will Lupe Fiasco be dropping his new album, but Big Sean has announced that he will be releasing his fourth studio album titled I decided on February 3rd.

His newest album will be a follow-up to his last album in 2015 Dark Sky Paradise and his recent duo album Twenty 88 with R&B singer/songwriter Jhene Aiko. In October, Sean released “Bounce Back” and most recently dropped “Moves” which are both set to appear on the albums 14 set track-list.

In an interview done with Entertainment Weekly, the Detroit-born rapper explains that his upcoming  album focuses on the idea of rebith. Sean told E.W, “I was just at this Motown exhibit with Berry Gordy with my mom. He was talking about Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder and the Temptations and how one of the things they did was inspire people. They inspired people to have a good time, to do better — to be a better version of themselves. That really stuck with me. That’s what I want to do, too.” He further explained that the concept of the album is his second chance to succeed, and for the “People who can be inspired by it, that’s who I’m doing it for. Everybody else can f— off or whatever.”

Although the official track-list has yet to be released, Sean has never be one to disappoint fans with features. So far, the only confirmed features on the album are Chance the Rapper and Jeremih (together on his most recently leaked track “Living Single.”) The album is available now for preorder.
