LISTEN: The Avalanches Release New Song “Bad Day” Featuring Freddie Gibbs

According to CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND, Australian music group ,The Avalanches, have released a new song featuring the Gary Indiana born rapper Freddie Gibbs. This should excite the fan bases of both Freddie and The Avalanches as anytime two artist collaborate they are combing two passionate fan bases.

The Australian born group released their first album in 2000 titled Wildflower. They decided to provide a re-issue of their album Since I Left You. Not wanting to let this year end without providing their fans with some new music, they released two mixes of an already released Freddie Gibbs collaboration called “Bad Day”.

The original version of the song features a Gladys Knight cover of a Stevie Wonder sample at the end along with a sample of Shuggie Otis.

According to a tweet from the group, Posdnuous, member of the group De La Soul, and Spank Rock are recording additional verses for upcoming to be released mixes.
