Movement Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Carl Cox, Earl Sweatshirt and Audion

Polish off those daisy crowns and rainbow beads because Movement music festival is back for its 11th year! 2017s lineup includes Earl Sweatshirt, Audion, Carl Cox,  Danny Brown, and much more (see full lineup below). This three-day festival running from May 27-29, features a mix of electronic and rap music all in one place.

Located at the Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit since 2006,  Movement has been the destination for EDM lovers every Memorial Day weekend. For the past couple of years Movement has held an intense lineup with names like Skrillex, Bonobo, Flying Lotus and Caribou, earning its rightful place on Rolling Stones list of  “Summer 2016’s Must-See Music Festivals.” 2017s lineup is nothing short of impressive, considering only phase one has been dropped. Phase two and three are still scheduled to be released prior to the event.

Early bird tickets are sold out, however three day general admission tickets are now available. Tickets include access to over 100 performances, on-site yoga, art- installations. Festival goer’s will also have access to assorted food offerings from local restaurants and food trucks.

Update (2/4/17): Movement Music Festival 2017 has added a few more performers to their lineup: Heidi, Juicy j, Red Axes(DJ Set), Richie Hawtin, Survive, Seth Troxler, The Gaslamp Killer and Thundercat.
