Northern Invasion has released the first set of artists, for their lineup, for their festival that will be held from May 13 to May 14, 2017. The festival will include Amon Amarth, who released a music video for their song “Raise Your Horns”, Opeth, who recently teamed up with Gojira for winter tour, and Dillinger Escape Plan, who has been set to play at the Rock on the Range.
Northern Invasion is mainly a rock genre based festival that started in 2014 with the partnership with World’s Loudest Month, a franchise of eight hardcore festivals that also includes Fort Rock, Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Rock on the Range, Rocklahoma, River City Rockfest, and Rockfest. Along with the festival set up with three stages, the festival offers the audience a camping site. With this, the audience sees the same scenery as it has been held in Somberset Amphitheater in Somberset, Wisconsin for the past three years.
This year’s headliners will include Kid Rock, who earlier this year performed at SweetWater 420 festival, and Soundgarden, who will also be performing at the Carolina Rebellion festival in 2017.
