Bill Moseley And Philip H. Anselmo Announce New Album Songs Of Darkness And Despair For January 2017 Release

Bill Moseley and Philip H. Anselmo have recently teamed up to release their album Songs of the Darkness and Despair, which will be released through Anselmo’s Housecore Records.

Bill Moseley is well known for his acting in many horror films such as The Devil’s Reject and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Musically, hes also worked in different projects, such as releasing records with Brian Patrick Carroll, also known as Buckethead in the band Cornbugs. Philip H. Anselmo is a well known musician/producer, commonly known with his association with Pantera, as the lead vocalist, and currently the band Down, as the vocalist.

The new album contains six songs produced and performed by produced by Anselmo and Stephen Berrigan, and mastered by Scott Hull from Visceral Sound. There will also be collarabtions with Kevin Bond from Superjoint, Squizzy Squires from King Parrot and  José Gonzalez from Superjoint, Warbeast and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals. With this set up, Moseley and Anselmo plans on bringing out thrill and horror to the audience as they work together.

According to the press release, Anselmo comments “Working with Mr. Moseley was an awesome experience! Bill brought the lyrics and Stephen and I just improvised directly on the spot, and squeezed out six tunes in three days. All the songs have a different vibe because I wanted the music to represent Bill’s lyrical vision(s), and we needed to, because Bill does indeed have a unique, visual element within his choice of words and phrasing. I love Bill Moseley, and can’t wait to work on the next one! Be cool and enjoy this one!”
