Dallas thrash metal/crossover band Power Trip has just announced the first portion for a North American tour that begins next February, supporting the release of their highly-anticipated sophomore LP Nightmare Logic. The record is set for a February 27th release via Southern Lord, with the tour kicking off in their home state of Texas just days before.
Political metal act Iron Reagan will be joining the Dallas band down the East Coast and through the Midwest. Tickets will be available for purchase this Friday, December 16th at 12 PM EST. West Coast dates will be added soon.
Power Trip is known for their monolithic rawness and sludgy, heaviness; the band’s musical proficiency and fierce riffs have even won them the title of Best Hardcore Act 2016 in the Dallas Observer’s Music Awards.
