Kehlani @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium 6/17

The Bay’s very own Kehlani is going on tour this spring and hitting up San Francisco in June. Her R&B sound is dynamic and original. Just announced was her SWEETSEXYSAVAGE World Tour. Recently, she released her single Advice and her debut album was released last year. Her next album Sweet Sexy Savage will drop on January 27, so be sure to familiarize yourself with it before you purchase your ticket for the show.

Not only do her Oakland roots make you want to hit up a local girl’s show, but her impressive resume should too. At 21 years old the singer has previous competed in America’s Got Talent, dropped her wildly popular album You Should Be Here in 2015, appeared on popular albums, like Zayn Malik’s debut solo album, the Suicide Squad movie album with her own song Gangsta, and has released multiple singles along the way. Kehlani keeps it real with music. Her music is empowering for young listeners, holding not only a powerful message, but also employs unique hooks to lock her songs on your Spotify playlist for the next month.

Fans of Chance the Rapper (who appears on her debut album) and Jhene Aiko will immediately be into the singer. Even if  you’re not in the know with up and coming R&B artists, you should hit up this show just to support your local Bay area talent. Although, If you can’t make it up to her show in the city, be sure to catch her at earlier dates in Sacramento or Santa Cruz. Kehlani’s soulful vibe will be sure to be a show to remember.
