Ryan Adams Announces New Album Prisoner for February 2017 Release

Ryan Adams has just announced his new upcoming album Prisoner last night. Along with the announcement he has shared the new lead single for the album called “Do You Still Love Me?” The new album will be available February 17th via Pax-Am/Blue Note and is currently available for pre-order.

The multiple-Grammy-nominee and zero winner Ryan Adams divulged intimate and revealing details in an interview with the talk show host Lil BUB by providing snippets of the new track that is available for purchase for for free with all pre-orders. The artist was reflecting on different levels of desire and what it is to be a “prisoner of your own desire” and feeling like you have been robbed of time, the most valuable asset in a person’s life.

The twelve track album Prisoner came to him over the period of time after he just released his 2014 self-titled album entering the U.S. charts at a career high of #4. At that time he was touring, recording, and released both his live performance at Carnegie Hall collection and full-album cover of Taylor Swift’s 1989. Over the last two years the album Prisoner pretty much wrote itself by honing in on the strength inside him and revealing itself in the music.

Prisoner Track List:

1.    Do You Still Love Me?
2.    Prisoner
3.    Doomsday
4.    Haunted House
5.    Shiver and Shake
