WATCH: Bring Me The Horizon Releases New Video for “Happy Song”

Bring Me The Horizon has recently released a new  video for their song “Happy Song”, which is part of That’s the Spirit album. The DVD for this event and performance was released on December 2nd, with all the proceeds helping out Teenage Cancer Trust, an charity that helps make sure that people of young age do not fight cancer alone.

According to Pure Volume, the performance was recorded on April 22, 2016. The video was mixed by Romesh Dodangoda and directed by Tim Sidwell. The band had performed the song live at Royal Albert Hall in London, and received support in their performance with a full orchestra and choir when singing the lyrics “S.P.I.R.I.T. Spirit, let’s hear it”. The performance can be watched below.

This orchestra is better known as Parallax Orchestra. This new professional orchestra was founded by Will Harvey, violinist and viola player, and Maddie Cutter, cellist, in 2015. At Royal Albert Hall in London, there was a 47-piece symphony orchestra plus a 14 person choir conducted by Simon Dobson. Will Harvey and Simon Dobson worked together and collaborated with Jordan Fish, the keyboardist in the band, to produce the orchestral arrangement. The choir was arranged and directed by Kat Marsh.

Bring Me The Horizon will be going on a tour in spring of 2017, in which they will perform songs from their fifth album.
