Sonar Festival, a 3-day electronic/advanced music festival has announced their 2017 lineup. This year will be the 24th edition of the festival and is held from June 15th-17th. In 1994, Ricard Robles, Enric Palau and Sergi Cabellero in Barcelona, Spain founded the Sonar Festival. Since creation, the Sonar Festival has divided into two separate parts. The first is ‘Sonar by Day’. The second is ‘Sonar by Night’ with Sónar +D. Sónar +D is a three-day assembly dedicated to creativity, technology and business.
Incessantly gaining a large following, Sonar Festival attracted 115,000 attendees from 101 countries in 2014. Check out the coverage on the 2014 lineup here. Past performances from big names include A$AP Rocky, Masters At Work, M.I.A., LCD Soundsystem and more! This year, Sonar Festival is presenting fans all over the world with more talented musicians. The lineup that was announced entails Eric Prydz, Fat Freddy’s Drop, GAIKA, Forest Swords, Nina Kraviz and so forth!
