Our famous Belgium sinners, Lords of Acid, are back again after undergoing numerous line up changes, world tours, millions of album sales, and every crisis and conflict that a band can experience. The band is ready for a new project that is different than what they have ever done. They are banning together with the most important people you, the amazing fans because without the fans there would be no Lord of Acid. So what do Lords of Acid have up their sleeve this time for their new album?
With the help of their friend Rocco Corsari, the driving force behind the Lords of Acid Backstage Group, he came up with the idea of having a Kickstarter campaign for the new upcoming album. The main focus is to make the album with the fans by having them help fund and promote the new album. Since they can do it without any labels, they are free to do what they really want, making the fans their label. Through the process, the band wants to make it fun and interactive by doing video blogs from the studio, conducting polls on their Facebook page, and giving updates about how the recording sessions are going.
The fans can even give their input if they want the title Pretty in Kink to be the sixth Lords of Acid studio album. The group has already reached over their intended goal with a total of $36, 310 with 38 days left in the campaign. Thus starts the beginning to recording the Pretty in Kink album in the following months allowing them to tour their new record by Fall 2017.
