R.I.P. Craig Gill Of Inspiral Carpets Dead At 44

Today marks another tragic loss from the music industry as Craig Gill of Inspiral Carpets has passed away at the age of 44. The group made the unfortunate announcement on their Facebook page early in the morning on Nov. 22 where they shared powerful words regarding the passing of their dear friend and bandmate.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our drummer and close friend, Craig Gill.
We are all absolutely devastated by the news. Craig was our brother.
We were honoured to work alongside him for the last 30 years.
To say that we’ll miss him is an understatement.
He was the beating heart of the Inspirals in more ways than one.
Our love and thoughts go out to all of Craig’s family and friends and especially his wife, Rose and their beautiful children, Georgia, Orla and Levon.

Some of their most popular songs include “I Want You” and “Dragging Me Down.” Recently, Gill has been djing at Hacienda Night Club and giving music themed tours around Manchester hot spots.

So far no details ragarding his death has been released. Fans have already been taking to Twitter to express their condolences, as the artist will truly be missed by all.
