Kanye West Cancels Saint Pablo Tour

Rapper Kanye West canceled the last 21 dates of his Saint Pablo Tour without any reason or explanation for doing so. A representative did, however, say tickets will be “fully refunded at point of purchase.” West has not made any comments himself about the cancellation, but the news has been confirmed by Rolling Stone and Live Nation.

The news is following a pattern West has been setting forth this past week after several odd outbursts and abrubt cancelations. He was supposed to play in Los Angeles on Sunday after canceling previous gig–but that show was called off. On Saturday, West had a show in Sacramento which ended only thirty minutes into the performance after a long rant that outed close friends Beyonce and Jay Z. To top it all off, the controversial artist made comments about how if he were to have voted, (which he didn’t) it would have been for Trump. This was while he was in one of the most Democratic areas in the country, San Jose, CA.

More recently, Kanye West was admitted to the hospital on Monday after police responded to “a disturbance call that became medical emergency call. There is no confrmaition so far if the person who made the call was Kanye, but NBC news said an unidentified source claimed Kanye was checked in for his own health and safety.

Kanye has been going hard the last few months promoting his most recent album The Life of Pablo on his world tour, and will hopefully be back on his feet soon so we can get a little more Yeezy in our lives.

UPDATE (11/21): According to Spin, Kanye West was hospitalized due to exhaustion and dehydration, leading to “temporary psychosis.” A man identified as “Jim Jones, 39 years old, 5’8″, 175 lbs” was placed on a 5150 hold, meaning he was a danger to himself or others, or gravely disabled. According to the report, West attempted to assault a staffer of his gym.

UPDATE (11/28): According to TMZ, a week after he was placed in a hospital under a 5150 hold, he is still not on stable condition and will not be released as planned today. The plan was to release West to the care of his personal physician. At this time, there is no timeline for a release.

Over the weekend, TMZ also reported that he was suffering from extreme paranoia and at one point would not even allow doctors at UCLA Medical Center to touch him.

UPDATE (11/30): According to TMZ, Kanye West has been released from the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles following a 5150 hold. He is reportedly at home with wife Kim Kardashian and his children and under the care of his personal physician, Dr. Michael Farzam. According to TMZ sources, he will require ongoing medical and psychological treatment despite being released from the hospital.

This is an ongoing story, come back for more updates.
