In the world of heavy metal, Giles’s carries an emblematic reputation for his vocalist styles. Composing a music variety from death growls, scream, along with harmonious singing melodies and occasionally incorporating falsetto. Despite the fact that he is “Straightedge” in his personal life, Giles continues to have an abrasive death metal style toward his music that often embodies bleak and immodest lyrics. In their song “White Walls”, they sing “The whores take the stage.. Flash our skills.. gotta draw ‘em in.. gotta keep ‘em on their toes.” Along with obscure lyrics, Giles performs songs with influential of substance material. In their album Between The Buried And Me, the song “Arsonist” was written about the controversial religion and hate group, Westboro Baptist Church. Transparently unfolding the bands animosity toward the association they sing, “Fuck your god, your god of shit. Our sin will send the death we wish upon you.”

Touching on his fundamental values, Giles expresses his feelings by promoting self-awareness and a reformist attitude in his newest album.
