American rock band Temple of Dog reunited last weekend at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia during the first night of their back-to-back gigs in the city. The band released live video footage of their recent show, performing an unreleased song called “Missing Watch,” at their second encore. Before the band began playing, Temple of Dog lead Chris Cornell told the audience how the song was never before played, and written back in the day with a group of songs including “Seasons,” and “Spoonman.” Once the announcement was made the crowd understadable went wild, and the lights went dark in preperation for the performance. Fans should be on the lookout for new music coming from Temple of Dog, as this reunion tour seems like more of a warm-up than a closing lap. The band has recently hinted towards new music, and are making the effort to stay active. In addition to the tour, the band released two demos of previous singles “Angel of Fire,” and “Black Cat.”
Temple of Dog member Cornell and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready performed several songs together at the end of 2015 in Cornell’s hometown of Seattle, WA that you can watch here.
