A couple years ago, in 2014, the band Dragonette was flying high with the well-recieved album Bodyparts. Now, Dragonette looks to releases the next album of their band’s portfolio later this month on November 11th.
The album is titled Royal Blues and is said to be energetic and quick. Band member, Martina Sorbora graves fans preview of the album on the day of Halloween when she released the song “Darth Vader”, featured on Royal Blues.
The illustrious pop group debuted “Darth Vader”, showing that this time around their music is still full of lovable hooks, melodies and listenable beats. Able to either listen to and enjoy or to use as a dance number, “Darth Vader” has nearly a perfect beats per minute measure to make getting up and dancing almost irresistible. With the high pitched and assertive vocals of Sorbora, the song demands the atttention it deserves. In the middle and throughout the track, background vocals supply a humming melody that can instantly be memorized and then sung along to with just one listen. Hearing the track properly suffices to instantly re-energize anyone taking it in. The momentum filled track has all the qualities that show that the new album will be a good one.
