Arcade Fire is a household name. For several years, a passionate fan base has followed them, and recently they played their first live show in a couple years as well as announcing a new album. Fans must be excited. Even so, a recent event has placed more anticipation to the hints behind a new album. Arcade Fire played the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience just the other day and more fuel to the raging fire of fans’ excitement has been added.
Arcade Fire built on the release and production of a new album with a small showcase of such to fans. Cool vibes, disco tones, and undeniable rock featured on ballads enveloped the show by Fire at the Arts Experience. Previewing the new album, Arcade Fire started to play a brand new tune, but this track was more special than a normal one. Will Butler, the leading man of the band, asked the crowd if they would like to be featured on the new song and began a melody in which they would follow. With the rest of the band’s accompaniment, Butler and the crowd sang a melodic ” na na na na na na” type vocal, implied to be a part of the song.
More so, Butler and the rest of Arcade Fire played a famous tune of theirs, “Everytime You Close Your Eyes”, as they mixed it in perfect transition with the classic Ghostbusters theme to make their performance a memorable one to say the least. You can see these videos below…
