Moon Duo Announce New Album Occult Architecture Vol. 1 For Feb. 2017 Release

Originating in San Francisco, Portland based psychedelic rock band, Moon Duo takes fans breaths away with the announcement of an upcoming album. This album is broken into two-different volumes. The first volume, Occult Architecture Vol. 1 will be released on February 3^rd, 2017 via Sacred Bones. Details on the second Volume are still in the air. According to Ripley Johnson (former Wooden Shijps member) guitarist, the concept of the two volumes will be dark/light. He mentions that the “dark” volume will be the recording from when they were recording in the winter. While, the “light” volume will be the mixes and songs from when the spring was arises upon them. He explains that spring is a time of rebirth and the changing of season’s impact on humans.

Forthcoming, the band will depart on their 2017 Tour. From February to April, Moon Duo will set sail across the United States and into Europe. Tickets for this tour will go on sale this upcoming Friday, November 4^th. Intrigued by the supernatural elements incorporated into their American Rock N’ Roll fans from all over are anticipating a psychedelic experience.
