Deltron 3030, an elusive and versatile trio, has now made their plans known and released two albums; one of which is brand new. Band members, Del the Funky Homosapien, DJ Kid Koala, and Dan the Automator, have re-released a 2013 album called Event II with unheard material and new instrumentals. However, perhaps the bigger story is that Deltron 3030 has released the brand new album Live at the start of this week.

Live, based on the featured track “Melding of Minds,” looks to hold qualities that could ensure a sound critical reception. The song holds a synthesized arrangement of punk, funk, and hip-hop. The lyrics seem sometimes wordy, yet tastefully so; also, the emotion put into the song commands attention. Perhaps even better is that this song features Zack de la Rocha which adds to the mixture of sound within the track. If this song sets the tone for the album, there is much to look forward to, as many other artists are also collaborators with this album aside from de la Rocha. Mike Patton, Jamie Cullen, Emily Wells, and Aaron Bruno are all featured on some of the 11 tracks of Live. See the track listing below:
