Soundgarden Announces 25th Anniversary Reissue of Badmotorfinger for November 2016 Release

Soundgarden will celebrate the 25th anniversary of classic album Badmotorfinger’s release by releasing four special editions on November 18th via UMe/A&M Records. North American and European pre-orders are available today.

Badmotorfinger spawned three singles, “Jesus Christ Pose,” “Outshined” and “Rusty Cage” and was Soundgarden’s highest-charting album at time of release. It has been certified 2x-platinum by the RIAA in the U.S, and has received universal critical acclaim.

The limited edition, seven-disc set features 4 CDs, 2 DVDs, and 1 Blu-ray Audio disc with 109 tracks total. 79 tracks of the tracks have never before been formally released.

The CD content includes the original album remastered, 15 previously unreleased outtakes, and the track “New Damage” featuring Brian May from Queen. Further, the set includes a newly mixed edition of Live at the Paramount, Soundgarden’s first-ever full concert album.

The DVD content includes the Live at the Paramount video, along with Motorvision +  More, a never before released home video. The set also features a 52-page book with a 25th anniversary silver foil Badmotorfinger icon cover, newly designed art, unreleased photos, and commemorative testimonials from fellow musicians and peers.

Soundgarden last released new music in 2012–King Animal–and has released six albums in total. A full list of the track-listing of each configuration can be found below.
