Brooklyn night club House of Vans, the cultural hub of the iconic Vans brand, is continuing its yearlong celebration of 50 years “Off the Wall.” House of Vans is the cultural hub for Vans functioning as a music venue, art house, skatepark, DIY workshop and more. In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Vans is curating pop-up House of Vans experiences across the globe in cities across Asia, Canada, Europe, and Mexico, enabling creative expression worldwide.

As the holiday season is rolling in and Halloween looms closer and closer, House of Vans presents a third installment of HalloWolfBat, a “Visual Assault by Brooklyn and Richmond, VA based artist Dennis McNett.”

On Saturday,October 29, McNett will transform the space with his signature large-scale mixed-media installations.The visual artist brings to life complex three-dimensional installations that are influenced by folklore, mythological creatures and stories from pop culture. The Wolfbat army will be joined by the half-satire/half-influential heavy metal band GWAR, Darkest Hour and Mutoid Man.

Vans, Dennis McNett and GWAR will collaborate to transform the expansive 25,000 square foot House of Vans space into a fully interactive art and music installation perfectly set for Halloween weekend. Come to witness McNett’s Wolfbat warriors battle 16 foot opponents during set to the musical backdrop of death metal band Darkest Hour and metal supergroup Mutoid Man (Steve Brodsky/Cave In, Ben Koller/Converge, Nick Cageo/Brohammer).
