Brookzill!(Brooklyn meets Brazil) is the new group made up of Prince Paul (De La Soul, Handsome Boy, Modeling School, Ladybug Mecca (Digable Planets), Rodrigo Brandao, and producer Don Newkirk. This new collective has been dubbed by Rolling Stone as “a culture smashing collective.” Last week Brookzill! premiered their new track “Let’s Go (E Noiz) with ELLE.
The new single brings Afro-tribe sound with a little bit of a Brazilian beat. The band will be debuting their album Throwback To The Future on October 7th via Tommy Boy. The song gives you the feeling like your walking down the streets during Carnival time in Brazil. Saxophones are playing as the beat plays giving the energy to keep dancing away.
