Bad Bad Hats, Flint Eastwood @ Beat Kitchen 12/9

Not only do Bad Bad Hats have a unique name, but they also have a unique sound. More and more girls are getting involved in rock music, especially indie rock. Kerry Alexander’s voice is soft and sweet, slightly contrasting the insistence of the guitar and bass riff in the background.

The band makes use of electric and acoustic songs, even though they’ve only put out a debut album. This shows their diverse abilities leading into the rest of their career. Their opening act, Flint Eastwood, provides a complementary pop sound that will lead into Bad Bad Hats nicely.

She got her start in Detroit, MI and has been creating atmospheric tracks ever since, framing the music with her voice. Flint Eastwood is the creation of Jax Anderson, the artist behind the music and look. Her love for music is found in her veins and childhood, the love of it constantly surrounding her every move.
