WATCH: Pretenders Release New Video for “Holy Commotion”

The Pretenders have just released a new video for their song “Holy Commotion”. This is the first track from their upcoming album Alone. This will be the group’s first release in eight long years. It comes 36 years after their very first album. Alone is set for release on October 21st via BMG.

The video was shot in Nashville in producer Dan Auerbach’s studio. It contains shots of Chrissie Hynde as well as Auerbach himself. It was edited by director and animator Luca Monte rosso Whittmann.

Chrissie Hynde is the only original member of The Pretenders on the new album. She’s joined by producer and drummer Richard Swift and keyboardist Leon Michels, both members of Auerbach’s side project The Arcs. Bassist Dave Roe, guitarist Russ Pahl, and guitarist Kenny Vaughan will also be featured on the record.

The band will embark on their tour with Stevie Nicks on October 25th in Phoenix. The tour will wrap up on December 18th at the Forum.
