The song starts slow and builds up until it finally hits its climax of the chorus for this new track “All Goes Wrong.” Its hard to explain the feeling you get from the music of the mixture of the beat of Chase & Status and vocals Tom Greenan. There are some songs that become good after playing them over and over, but this track is not the case. This has to be one of the great songs that we can hope to anticipate for a new upcoming album. We are hoping that they prove us right by bringing home another hit album.
Chase & Status have been described by Spin Magazine as “Nothing short of megastars.” As one of the most successful British bands of this past decade, they have proven themselves with their success after their first ground-breaking debut alum More Than Alot which was the second best selling UK album by a British band in the year of its release. They followed up the critically acclaimed album with No More Idols. This album spawned seven A list Radio 1 hit singles and achieved a double platinum status in the UK. With their third studio album, Brand New Machine, brings their career record sales to tally over 3.5 million.
If you may not know much about Tom Grennan, he has had quite a year. The Bedford-born 21 year old signed a record deal, graduated from university, played to festival crowds around the world and recorded his first EP. His latest single “Something in the Water” was produced by Charlie Hugall who has worked with Florence and the Machine and Maccabees. This single has been featured on Clash, The Independent, and BBC Introducing and hit number 1 in the Hype Machine chart along with number 2 in the UK and Irish Spotify Viral Chart. Finally, he now features on this track with Chase & Status.
