WATCH: The Dirty Projectors Release First New Song In Four Years with Video for “Keep Your Name”

The Dirty Projectors have just released their new song “Keep Your Name” along with accompanying video. This is the group’s first release in four long years. Their previous release was 2012’s album Swing Low Magellan.

The band has kept a seemingly low profile since the album release. However, earlier this year Dirty Projector’s member Amber Coffman made headlines when she accused publicist Heathcliff Berru of sexual assault. After Coffman came forward with her story many other woman shared their similar experiences. After the series of accusations, Berru, the founder of Life or Death PR & Management, resigned from the company.

On a more positive note, earlier this week the band also teased fans with a short video promising new music to be released soon. The video was shared via their twitter profile. The video seems to be an announcement for a future album.
