As one of the most successful and influential artists of her time, Tori Amos is still a force to be feared today. Over two decades ago, she made her debut as producer on her third studio album, Boys for Pele. The album was compiled of songs about mythology (Pele was a Hawaiian volcano goddess), suppression, and self discovery. The record was one of her most successful albums debuting at #2 on the album charts in the U.S. and U.K.
In celebration of the 20 year anniversary, Rhino will release a deluxe edition including a newly remastered version of the original. There will be a section of B-sides, rare recordings, and four unreleased tracks. The reissue will be released as Boys for Pele: Deluxe Edition on November 18th as a 2 CD set and also available digitally.
