Thom Yorke provided the soundtrack for clothing label Rag & Bone’s New York Fashion Week show with his new song “Coloured Candy”, which was said to be a title track for the show which highlighted the fashion label’s release of their 2017 Spring/Summer collection. This is the second new track released by Yorke during Fashion Week, with his preceding debut of “Villain” earlier in the week.

This 10-minute outer space soundscape features robotic versions of lyrics from the album King of Limbs, in combination with a synthesized down-tempo foundation and Yorke’s signature otherworldly sound. One can not help but to enter a state of euphoric trance when listening to this elongated track, but that is a typical of tracks by musical mastermind Thom Yorke. Don’t call your doctor — the effects will wear off momentarily and you will eventually return to Earth.

The Radiohead frontman’s professional partnership with fashion label Rag & Bone is nothing new; back in 2013 Yorke paired with Nigel Godrich to perform for the fashion labels NYFW show. This seems to be one of Yorke’s many ongoing fruitful solo projects since Radiohead.
