This four piece outta New York has something different about them. Atmospheric, hauntingly beautiful melodies paired with delicate music choices define this band’s work. The Dig stands out from the plethora of indie rock bands crowding the airwaves by providing a sound that strikes something in everyone. The first time I listened to them, it made me think and feel on a deeper level.
Each song raises the hair on your arms while simultaneously creating a beautiful world with every beat. Only four albums into their career, they’ve established a sense of themselves through their music that takes some bands decades to find. There is no time for genre boundaries with a group like them.
Their supporting band is a hometown act – The Dead Woods. Rumor has it that they put on a killer live show that is even more exciting than listening to them. Their debut LP gives the middle finger to autotune and other effects, instead creating a raw, inspiring rock sound.
