I love music that just makes me feel good. The kind with a catchy beat and infectious melodies that I can’t help dancing to alone in my room. I think that’s the best and only way to describe Lydia’s music. At the same time, some songs strike a more emotional chord. Their musicianship is obvious, which makes it easier for them to infect your emotions.
Originally forming in Arizona, the band has come a long way. From their early beginnings, a band member waving farewell, a hiatus, a break up, and a reunion. This chance to see Lydia is one that many thought they would never experience. Everything has come full circle, and they have decided to continue making great music.
Although they say their new music may be “a bit darker”, it’s safe to say that this band is successful no matter what styles they experiment with. Through all the changes and albums, Lydia has consistently released music that people identify with and want to share with the world.
