WATCH: Empire of the Sun Perform New Songs Live at Hollywood and Vine

This past Tuesday, Australian duo Empire of The Sun performed two songs from their upcoming album, Two Vines, on the Capitol Records patio. The venue, on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, was surrounded by vines and other various shrubbery.

The duo performed a 30 minute set including the new tracks “Two Vines” and “High and Low”. This was the first time the songs have been performed in public. They also played familiar tunes “We Are The People”, “Alive” and “Walking on a Dream”. Although the show was brief it still featured dry-ice fog, lightstick-brandishing, dancers in unitards and psychedelic audiovisuals.

Two Vines will be released on October 28th via Astralwerks. It features collaborations from Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, Prince and The Revolution’s Wendy Melvoin and David Bowie’s Blackstar band’s Henry Hey and Tim LeFebvre.
