Kristin Hersh has just announced the release of her new album and book titled Wyatt at the Cove Palace. Both the CD and the book will be available on October 28 in the UK and Australia. In the U.S, they will be available on November 11 via Omnibus Press. This will be the follow up to 2010’s Crooked. Hersh’s group Throwing Muses also released an album in 2013 titled Purgatory/Paradise.
Besides her albums, Hersh has also written a series of books. Last year’s was Don’t Suck, Don’t Die: Giving Up Vic Chesnut.
The album and book title were inspired by Hersh’s autistic son Wyatt, more specifically “his fascination with an abandoned apartment building inhabited by coyotes.” Check out the album artwork and full track list below.
