Diplo is coming to DJ at STORY in Miami Beach on Friday, September 23rd. Diplo has been a very prolific producer over the past 10 years. He’s worked with a large number of artists in many different genres, so you may have heard his influence anywhere.
Diplo is a DJ and producer originally from Mississippi. He actually spent most of his childhood in Miami where he first became interested in production and DJing because of the hip hop genre Miami bass that was popular at the time. After that he went to Philadelphia, gained some popularity as a DJ and eventually met M.I.A., who he produced the song “Paper Planes for. That song made him even more famous and led to the formation of his record label Mad Decent and his most popular collaborative project Major Lazer. His music has loud bass and bouncin beats that are great for any party. Take a listen to some good tracks below.
