WATCH: Dave Grohl Performs On Stage With Prophets of Rage To Cover MC5’s “Kick Out the Jams”

There’s nothing better than a good surprise at concert, and there’s some special guests that the whole house will go crazy for. At a Prophets of Rage gig Thursday night in Toronto, iconic Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters made a legendary appearance during the encore that ensured audience and epic ending unforgettable night. Lucky for fans the whole performance was streamed via Live Nation TV, and now you can catch the video on Prophet’s of Rage Facebook.

Turntablist DJ Lord opened the show with a rock rendition of something similar to the star spangled banner, as he held his hand patriotically over his heart. His set then consisted of killer mixes ranging from a fast paced rap over Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” to a raw mix of Foo Fighter’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Perhaps it was a foreshadow of the madness that was to come. After a great Prophet of Range performance, Grohl came out around 2:03:45 to a wild welcome with roars that rocked the venue.

Juiced up and ready to rock he screams, “Kick out the jams, motherf—ker!” where the group proceeded to play “Kick Out The Jams” by MC5. Watch the craziness unfold on video where you can catch the whole performance.

On Thursday, Sept. 15 Dave Grohl accompanied the band on stage once again in his hometown of Los Angeles, to perform “Kick Out The Jams,” as he did in Toronto.
