According to Live Nation, entertainment company Live Nation has announced a partnership with security service IdentoGo to allow music fans to sign up for TSA pre-check and skip long lines with Fast Pass wristbands. IdentoGo is the same company that the TSA uses with its Pre-Check system, which allows passengers to skip security lines, among other benefits. The same process is going to be utilized at a limited number future Live Nation events and venues.
Enrolling in the Pre-Check service also allows you to skip the aforementioned airport lines. This also means that if you have previously enrolled in the TSA’s Pre-Check, you do not need to re-enroll for Live Nation’s Pre-Check. The application itself costs $85 and takes only ten minutes to complete. At a designated enrollment location, you must provide a government-issued ID or proof of citizenship. Once completed, enrollment lasts for five years. Additionally, Live Nation is providing sign-up centers at certain events and venues, eliminating long lines at enrollment centers.
Once membership is all set up, at the event you simply must display your ID and your nine-digit Known Traveler Number. After doing that, you will be able to walk right into the venue. The Pre-Check program has already been tested at Washington’s Watershed Festival. Las Vegas’s Harvest Country Music Festival and NYC’s The Meadows Music and Art Festival will also take advantage of the program. Other venues participating in the Pre-Check system include Texas’ Gexa Energy Pavillion, Florida’s Perfect Vodka Amphitheater, and Atlanta’s Lakewood Amphitheater. Live Nation is set to test the program through the end of 2017.
