Francis and the Lights Announce New Album Farewell Starlite

With the help of Bon Iver and Kanye West, Francis and the Lights released what has become their biggest single to date, “Friends.” The song will be a part of Francis’s forthcoming album, reportedly named Farewell, Starlite!. While there is still no word on when exactly the album will drop, the group decided to surprise fans by debuting the album for the Eaux Claires festival audience. The surprises did not end there. Throughout the set, Francis was joined on stage by some of his collaborative partners, Justin Vernon and Chance The Rapper. The trio performed “Summer Friends” along with the song’s inspiration, “Friends,” and threw in some dance moves as well.
