There’s been a great deal of hubbub being made over the reissue of We Care Lot, Faith No More’s seminal debut album on August 19. It only makes sense the band would get back together with Chuck Mosley, the vocalist at the time of the album’s release in 1985, for some shows to celebrate the reissue. Faith No More fans can get excited because today Mosley had a very special announcement. See the video below for the rundown.
Mosely will appear with the band first in San Francisco for an appearance at the Great American Music Hall. Two days later, he will be joined by his friends and former bandmates once again for to perform at the intimate and historic space of the Troubadour Nightclub in West Hollywood. In the video he explains that the Southern California appearance will be an acoustic set.
The album has been out of print for 20 years, just now getting a proper reissue care of Koolarrow Records, which is run by the band’s bassist Billy Gould. While We Care a Lot has gone on to influence and inspire countless artists in the world of metal, hard rock, alternative rock, hip-hop and experimental music, one critic (unsurprisingly, the curmudgeonly Steve Albini) was less than impressed.
