Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? On November 4th, if you visit the Riviera Theatre, that might be possible for you. I’m talking about the pop-punk classic Good Charlotte, joined by a whole host of newer pop-punk bands that keep the scene thriving. Good Charlotte has been around since ’96, so they’ve been around once or twice (maybe a bit more than that) and can only be described as the soundtrack to a 90s high schooler’s angsty life.
Since most of the frontrunners in the early pop punk and emo genres have stopped releasing music and touring, this will be the ultimate throwback night with such a prolific band. Each of the supporting acts carry a great reputation, built on impressive discographies and ceaseless touring. The Story So Far and Four Year Strong have without a doubt built up a dedicated fanbase by constantly providing opportunities to see them live and in person.
Since these bands appeal to a wide range of ages, the show will be all ages. Tickets are $29.50 and selling out quickly, so be sure to snag a couple for you and your friends! Also, I might add, the perfect way to blow off some steam is by singing along to early 2000s anthems and dancing the night away.
